WTF Are Genpets?
According to the website that is supposedly looking for marketing opportunities for their product, the Genpet description is as follows:
Genpets are living, breathing mammals. Bio-Genica is a Bioengineering Company that has combined, and modified existing DNA to create the Genpets lineup. Genpets have blood, bones, and muscle; they will bleed if you cut them, and die if mistreated just like any other animal. The electronic components are only in the packages and are for basic life support, outside of the packages the Genpets are wholly organic.
Upon further research, the Genpet is a brain child of artist Adam Brandejs who has beautifully sculpted this strange multimedia animal out of rubber and electronic doodads.

How To Disable Standby Or Hibernate Mode In Windows XP
The following steps will assist you in turning off the auto-standby and/or auto-hibernate on your Windows XP.
- Launch the Control Panel
- If you are in Classic View, find the Power Options Icon
and Double Click. If you are In Category View, click the Performance And Maintenance and then click on Power Options. - Under the Power Schemes Tab, set the Standby and/or Hibernate Options to Never.
- Click Apply/Ok and your done.

80’s Pop Bands
To continue with the 80’s theme, I’m including some of the many 80’s pop bands. You’ve got to admire the look. People in the 80’s were not afraid of standing out. Even if it meant looking completely ridiculous.
80’s Glam Metal Rock Bands
Here are a few of the many Glam Metal Rock bands that seems to have died in the 80’s. We’re talking about Motley Crue, Ratt, Guns & Roses, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, Van Halen, Whitesnake etc. Many of you will of course insist that Guns & Roses, Quiet Riot & Van Halen weren’t Glam Metal Rock bands, but of course I disagree, and this is my blog go and get your own :-). The Glam Metal Rock bands of the 80’s weren’t by any stretch of the imagination creating something new. They were taking much of their hairspray and androgyny from their predecessors the Glitter/Glam Rock bands of the 70’s like the New York City Dolls, Gary Glitter, T.Rex etc.
