The Amazon Kindle is the biggest thing that has happened to reading since the invention of the printing press. This tool is absolutely phenomenal, bringing reading enjoyment into the modern age. This very cool tool can hold over 1,500 Books. The absolute amazing aspect to Kindle is that you can download books and magazines and newspapers onto your unit in about 1 minute. The screen has been designed to look just like paper, meaning it is easier on the eyes. There’s even a text to speech feature that will read English language newspapers to you. The easy to navigate buttons means that there is virtually no learning curve and can thus be enjoyed immediately by people of all ages. And Kindle’s long battery life means that you won’t have to worry about it shutting down on you after a couple of hours, this bad boy goes on for days. If that wasn’t cool enough, the built in QUERTY keyboard allows you to make annotations on the screen, or bookmark/highlight pages and paragraphs of interest. There’s also a full zoom capability which is very useful for getting at those hard to read periodicals.
