Cool Tech Tip: How To Disable Your Screen Saver
I may get some flak for making this little Cool Tech Tip, but the truth is, this is not common knowledge and someone has to do it.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to disable your screen saver. This is useful if you are tired of your screen going into screen saving mode.
- Right Click Desktop -> Select Properties

- The Display Properties window will launch -> Select the Screen Saver Tab
- Click on the Screen Saver Drop Down Arrow and Select (None)

- Click Apply/OK
That’s all there is to it.

Thanks for the tip. Whenever I’m watching a show or movie on my laptop the screen saver clicking on annoys the heck out of me.
When you say, “right click,” it would be easier to understand if you explained that it was the less-used mouse button. Honestly, who says “right click” anymore?
Waffles, right click is so commonly used and understood more so than Less-Used mouse button. In fact, most people would not even begin to understand what you mean.
