My Favorite Windows Keyboard Shortcuts
One excellent way of becoming more productive while using your computer is to learn a few keyboard shortcuts. I have put together a list of twenty of my favorite shortcuts that will have you feeling like a seasoned computer geek in no time. My list of shortcuts is by no means a complete list, but by far the ones I use most.
CTRL+A - Selects All
CTRL+C – Copies All Selected Text
CTRL+X – Cuts all Selected Text And Stores It In Your Systems Clipboard
CTRL+V – Pastes All Saved Text From The Clipboard
CTRL+Z – Undo As Many Times As The Specific Program Allows.
F2 key – Renames The Selected Item
F3 key – Launches An Applications Search Tool
ALT+F4 - Closes or Quits The Active Program
ALT+TAB - Switches Between Open Programs
ALT+ESC - Cycles Through Programs Or Items In Chronological Order
F5 key - Refreshes The Active Window
Windows Logo key – Displays/Hides The Start Menu
Windows Logo+ BREAK - Displays System Properties
Windows Logo+M - Minimizes All Windows
Windows Logo+SHIFT+M - Restores Minimized Windows
Windows Logo+E - Launches The My Computer Folder
Windows Logo+F – Launches Windows File/Folder Search Tool
Windows Logo+ L - Locks Your Profile – Very Useful If You Are Leaving PC Unattended At Work Or Home
Windows Logo+R – Launches The ‘Run’ Dialog Box
Windows Logo+F1 - Launches Windows Help And Support Center
