Old School GPS

Technology is cool, and with the invention of the GPS it has become even cooler. I still find it amazing that a little box attached to the dashboard of my vehicle can interact with satellites hurtling around the earth, beaming back relevant info on the location of me and the vehicle. For those of you who’ve got a GPS, then you know what it is that I’m talking about, they are one the coolest thing around. That said, not everyone can afford a way cool GPS box like the Garman GPS NĂ¼vi 760’s widescreen display, so it’s probably time to look for the next best thing. I’m talking about doing it the way they did it back in the day, going back in time to less automated, more hands on approach. For those of you who can’t afford the real GPS, why not go old school. A globe glued to your dashboard should do the trick.
