When I first saw this peculiar gadget, I said “Is this for real?”. Then the more I thought about it the more it made sense. The following is a direct quote from the website selling the Sta-On Pet Diaper:

The STA-ON diaper harness is intended for use with baby disposable diapers to reduce/eliminate stains and damage from accidental soiling. It is suitable for elderly dogs who have lost control of their bladder, female animals that are undergoing menstruation, and young active dogs that are not yet house trained.

We think it’s pretty cool.
