If you enjoy listening to the clicking sounds of a typewriter, then this may be for you. It’s called ClickKey, and you can download it for free off of grc.com

All that ClickKey does is assign a clicking sound to your keyboard from 26 different presets. Getting the sounds assigned couldn’t be easier. Once you’ve found the sound that suites you best, press the Set key and your done.

The program is tiny, and best of all, it does not install itself into your Operating System. Instead, it is completely standalone software that you can store in a folder of your choice. As you can see by the image, there are only two files that are shipped with ClickKey.

If, at any point, the clicking sounds drive you mad, all you need to do is launch ClickKey and press the Remove button.
