Strange Japanese Sleep Capsules
The Japanese have got the answer to today’s Urban Sprawl, it’s called the Sleep Capsule. The sleep capsule was designed for businessmen who needed an inexpensive alternative to the standard hotels available in places like Tokyo.
The Sleep Capsules are found primarily at Capsule Hotels and appear to be quite cosy, that is if you don’t mind sleeping in a rectangular box. They are intended to sleep one comfortably, so probably not a place for you and the wife.
Some of the features that are included with the Sleep Capsules are Night panel (w/ alarm clock), Night table, Room light, Mirror, Ventilation register or ventilator and T.V’s on upgraded units.
