Create An Invisible Folder
If you need a quick way of hiding your files from prying eyes, then this tutorial is for you. I will show you how to create an invisible folder on your desktop. Let’s get to it.
1. Right Click on your desktop and select New -> Folder to create a new folder.
2. Rename the folder by typing the number 0160 while holding down the Alt key. After you release the Alt key, the name will disappear leaving a blank space.
3. After renaming the folder, Right Click on it and select Properties. Select the Customize Tab and press the Change Icon button at the bottom left.

4. Search through the list of icons until you find a blank space/icon. Double Click the blank icon, then press OK. Voila! you’ve got your invisible folder.

5. To add files to the invisible folder, Click and Drag over the location of the icon to select it. A small blue rectangle will appear. Double Click it like you would any other folder.

Btw, there are great tutorials over at xptricks.net
