What Would You Do With A Bigger Brain?
Keeping up with all the latest trends, gadgets and gizmos can be overwhelming at times. Often to the point where technology burnout has completely fried our circuitry. We may take consolation in the fact that we modern humans are so much smarter than our pre-historic cousins. Or are we?
The assumption that evolution is a one way street, has been debated for some time. Some of that debate comes from discovery of skeletal remains in South Africa of what scientists call the Boskop Man. Discovered in 1913 by Frederick FitzSimons, The Boskop Man is presumed to be much smarter than us, by a big stretch.
These skeletal remains have created more questions than answers in the ongoing evolution debate. Take, for example, the size of its skull which is much larger than modern humans. The Boskop Man is the one on the left.

Others suggest that the Boskop Man is more a figment of peoples imagination than fact. They point to the poor samples available, as well as the improper classification methods made on the subject. You can find more intriguing details here
