The sQuba is the latest high-tech innovation to come out of the Rinspeed Corporation in Zumikon,Switzerland. It’s founder and CEO Frank M. Rinderknecht has been producing some of the most intriguing vehicles ever developed and his latest creation, the sQuba, is definitely a head turner.
The sQuba is a multi-purpose vehicle that can reach a top speed of 120 Kph about 75 Mph on land, 6 Kph or roughly 4 Mph on the water and can submerge to an impressive 10 meters or roughly 33 feet in the water while traveling approximately 3 Kph or 1.8 Mph. These impressive feats are made possible with the help of several electric motors and proprietary technology which allows the vehicle operate seamlessly in all three environments.
If that weren’t impressive enough, the sQuba also comes with two scuba tanks and gear for underwater use, and sophisticated laser sensors which allows for autonomous computer driving on land.
So the next time you see a car drive into the water, it may just be the sQuba.
